Anthea Redfern

Anthea Bernice Redfern (born 1948 in Newton Abbot, Devon)[1] is a former British television hostess, most notable as the assistant to her then husband, Bruce Forsyth, on the BBC's The Generation Game.

Redfern trained as a dancer and then went on to work as a model in Paris and the United Kingdom; she was one of the first models to appear on Page Three of The Sun, albeit not topless,Anthea became a Playboy Bunny working in the London club in Park Lane in 1969 her bunny name was Sasha. She became "Miss London" in 1970. She met Bruce Forsyth at a "Miss Lovely Legs" competition.[2] The couple started an affair and, after Forsyth divorced his first wife Penny Calvert, she auditioned against fifty-two other applicants, and they started presenting The Generation Game together.[3]

Forsyth and Redfern married on Christmas Eve 1973[4] and had two daughters: Charlotte and Louisa. In 1979, they divorced and Redfern subsequently married property developer Freddie Hoffman, with whom she had daughter India. Redfern was previously married to Torquay United F.C. and Bristol Rovers F.C. footballer Robin Stubbs. She now spends a large amount of time in Marbella, Spain and has appeared again on in British television, including an appearance on Come Dine With Me.
